A 53-year-old man from Croydon has been charged with possessing an automatic weapon.

Thomas Burke was in a convoy with another vehicle in Southwark yesterday when police stopped them.

Him and 31-year-old Brian Divengele from Greenwich are both charged of possession.

They’ll appear in court today.
