A car park in Ashford is to be redeveloped to give affordable housing to keyworkers.

The design has been modified on the original plans to give twice the amount of energy saving, at 44%.

There’ll be 127 homes, all at affordable rates.

Suzanne Rankin, head of Ashford and St Peters Hospitals, says sustaining services is a “real challenge”, and quality housing will address that.
