A former England cricketer has revealed a racist letter, accusing her of being found in Africa “as a primitive”.

37-year-old Ebony Rainford-Brent is the director of Women’s Cricket at Surrey.

It was posted online after former Yorkshire player Azeem Rafiq testified about his experiences of racism at the club.

Ebony played 29 times for England and was the first black woman to play for the country.
