A police officer who failed to mention his wife was involved in a collision he was dealing with will keep his job.

PC Mahipalsinh Solanki is based at the West Area BCU, which covers Hounslow, Ealing and Hillingdon.

It was alleged that in November 2019, he put “pressure” on the other driver, and “telling her that she was at fault”.

The panel found that he was proven of gross misconduct, but decided to impose a final written warning.
