A squirrel had to be rescued from a bird feeder in Banstead, after getting his whole body trapped inside it trying to get the food

The homeowners called the RSPCA, who cut away the metal, and he ran away.

The charity says they receive calls about this “fairly regularly”, and are urging people to not buy “anti-squirrel” feeders.

They’re also urging people to call the RSPCA rather than try and free it yourself, as you may injure it.
