£650,000 will be handed to firms in a bid to boost the local economy.
The money, from central government is being channelled through two separate funds.
One, the Sutton Business Recovery Grant Fund will help companies who’ve lost income cover their running costs, reduce their environmental impact and support local skills and employment.
A second funding stream is designed to help businesses develop networks which will benefit the local environment, footfall and the economy.
It’s part of a long-term programme which Sutton Council says has enabled it channel £50 million to over 700 local businesses.
