Disney is cutting the cost of its steaming service for a month in an attempt to drive up the number of subscribers.

New customers, and some coming back to the Disney-plus platform, will be charged £1.99 from today and the rest of the week.

Investors at the Hammersmith based company are said to be concerned that subscriptions have slowed down.

Launching in November 2019, it attracted 100-million users worldwide in just 16 months.
