Heathrow has launched a recruitment drive for over 600 frontline roles following the end of the US travel ban.

The hiring of new security officers, engineers and a variety of other roles is marking the first green shoots of recovery.

The new recruits will undergo an extensive training programme in   order to achieve the required security accreditations and skill sets.

Whilst passenger numbers are still down 56% on pre-pandemic levels the airport is hoping to be ready as passenger demand returns
