They’ve been set up on Portland Road for St John’s School, and on Pine Gardens for Christ Church.
It means that drivers cannot enter the roads between 8.30 and 9.30am, and 2.45 and 3.45pm.
Councillor Stephanie Archer says it’ll help children walk and cycle to school more safely, and “a dramatic reduction in vehicle idling”.
