One is a special school focusing on people with autism, and will provide for 90 children.
The other is a Church of England school set to open in 2025.
The move to support the CofE school has been criticised by
the area’s Green Party, who say that the council should ask that the selective
criteria is removed.
Lib Dem Councillor Diane White says it’ll provide
“excellent, state-funded” education.
