It’s believed a fire at a shop in Tooting in the early hours of this morning was caused by an electrical issue

The brigade was called at around 2am to Mitcham Lane.

A man and a woman left a flat above the shop before crews arrived, and there were no reports of any injuries.

Most of the ground floor of the shop was damaged.
