Plans to erect a 15 metre high mobile phone mast in Earlsfield have been rejected by Wandsworth Council.

CK Hutchison Networks Ltd wanted to install the 5G mast at the junctions of Aldrich Terrace and Lidiard Road.

This is a conservation area which includes a pocket park and children’s play area.

The Council turned it down on the grounds the mast would be  visually discordant, unsympathetic and of intrusive scale and design.
