The chief executive of the Premier League believes Roman Abramovich has made the right decision to sell Chelsea following the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

Speaking at the Financial Times Business of Football Summit, Richard Masters welcomed a potential sale saying the Oligarch's ownership of the club was "unsustainable in the current environment".

He also said a takeover "wouldn't work" if Abramovich was sanctioned by the UK government.
