Four Just Stop Oil protesters have been charged with causing criminal damage at the Cobham and Clacket Lane service stations of over 5-thousand pounds

Officers were called to both stations just after 7am on Thursday following reports that a large number of protesters were gluing themselves to the pumps, to forecourt signs and to vehicles.

Significant damage was caused to the pumps on both forecourts.

Bail conditions for the four include not being able to enter Surrey.

Twenty-seven others are still under investigation.
