Sarah Olney hosted the NSPCC, Parent Infant Foundation and the Institute for Health Visiting at Downing Street.
The NSPCC’s ‘Fight for a Fair Start’ petition, signed by nearly 22,000 people in England, has also been delivered to ministers.
The charity says 19% of babies are not receiving a 12-month health review by the age of 15 months due to a lack of health visitor staff.
