An experimental England side faced the invitational Barbarians at Twickenham Stadium. For most of the second half, the visitors played with 14 men after Will Skelton was shown a red card for a dangerous tackle. Despite this, the BaaBaas outplayed and outscored an England squad that was trying out a new style of play - promising for the future but lacking execution today.
George Kruis, playing for the Barbarians managed by Fabien Galthie and defence coach Shaun Edwards, scored a hat-trick of conversions in a Player of the Match performance as he brought to an end his professional rugby career.
