The victims of the Staines Air Disaster of 1972 are being remembered today, 50 years on

118 people died when a Hawker Siddeley Trident crashed just 150 seconds after taking off from Heathrow.  

A public inquiry into the incident made several recommendations shaping the future of airline safety.
