40 firefighters were called to a fire on Tolworth Rise North
just after 2 o’clock where trees, fences and garden swings were also
alight.
Two men were treated at the scene by paramedics for smoke
inhalation.
LFB are urging people not to have bonfires in this hot
weather as the dry heat even the smallest spark could cause a significant fire.
