A disciplinary panel’s decided a former Met Police officer is guilty of gross misconduct for not properly investigating flashing reports made against Wayne Couzens.

Samantha Lee didn't make the 'correct inquiries' over two incidents reported at a McDonald's in Kent in February 2021.

That was  just weeks before he kidnapped arah Everard from the streets of Clapham and murdered her. 

Ms Lee was also found to have lied about parts of the investigation.

If she was still a serving employee she would’ve been dismissed.
