South Western Railway is banning e-scooters from its trains and stations from next month.

The operator says its bringing in the rule due to safety concerns around batteries catching fire.

However, e-bikes and electric wheelchairs will still be permitted.

The London Underground has also banned them due to the alleged fire risk.
