The 24-year-old rider was attended by ambulance and air ambulance crews on Pointers Road at around 11.30am this morning.
He died at the scene.
Officers are now appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision or the man riding the yellow and white motocross bike before the crash.
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 101.
