A one-year-old girl from Twickenham has been given just a month to find a stem cell donor in order to save her life.

Liya Gumusoz was diagnosed with leukaemia at Great Ormond Street and has only spent nine nights at home in the past three months.

She’s currently undergoing chemotherapy but her only chance of survival is to find a blood stem cell donor.

Only two percent of the country are registered as donors and the number is falling due to the pandemic.

Anyone in good health who’s between 17 and 55 can become a donor.
