Scientists at Royal Holloway University in Egham found that when larvae are exposed to Sulfoxaflor, there’s a 61% reduction in growth.

Dr Harry Siviter says that the regulations around insecticides do not adequately protect bees from harm.

Testing currently focuses on the effects of substances on healthy bees, however bees are commonly already infected with a variety of pathogens.
