A designated room has been built inside Kingston Hospital’s A&E department for grieving families.

It has been funded by the Kingston Hospital Charity.

The “viewing room” gives relatives a dedicated, private space to spend some time with a loved one following their death.

Hospital bosses say that although the numbers of people who will use it will be small, the impact will be “significant.”
