An air ambulance has been called to Thorpe Park after somebody was taken ill.

Crews were called yesterday afternoon to the resort, and took them to the hospital.

There are reports that the patient was a child who fell ill near the Swarm ride.

The theme park has thanked guests for their cooperation and patience.
