Research has found Powys has more metres of road per person than any other local authority area, with more than 40.
Hammersmith and Fulham has the worst in London at 1.2, but even the best, Sutton and Richmond, have only 2.1.
Surrey is in the middle of the table, with 4.6 metres per person.
The numbers are dwindling, though, because populations are increasing at 10-times the rate of road building.
