Authorities in London are to split £218m, with the amounts varying from £14.5m in Tower Hamlets, down to £1.5m in Richmond.
Redbridge told the
Standard that they “made it very clear” to the government they’re expecting a
financial hit of £60m.
Most authorities in
Surrey are to receive grants around £100,000.
Communities
Secretary Robert Jenrick says the extra £1bn will “ensure councils have the
resources they need over the winter”.
