A government minister says if someone deliberately lies to parliament they should resign, as Boris Johnson faces a vote on whether he should be investigated

The Prime Minister yesterday apologised for breaking Covid rules - but senior Conservative Mark Harper says he's not "worthy" of leading the country.

Small business minister and Sutton MP Paul Scully believes Mr Johnson did not mislead parliament.

He's hinted further Commons scrutiny should wait until a full police investigation into Covid law-breaking is over.
