The borough of Hounslow is to join an international group of cities dedicated to protecting the environment and tackling climate change.

It’s the first London borough to join the Global Climate Resilience Network, which include 1300 cities and local governments around the world.

The Council says it hopes that tools and resources from the UN-led group will help Hounslow become more resilient to the effects of climate change.

Hounslow council declared its own climate emergency in 2019.
