Hounslow Council has unveiled a new summer programme to help kids learn more about nature and biodiversity.

Activities include pond-dipping, mini-beast bug hunts, reptile handling, learning about survival skills and shelter building.

The free events are being held at Boston Manor Park in Brentford for children aged 5 to 12, as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

It's part of the Reconnecting Boston Manor Park v- a lottery-funded project to restore and improve one of the borough's green lungs.
