Fordbridge firefighters will walk more than five miles and then climb 110 floors of Ascot House whilst wearing full fire kit.
The Tunnels to Towers challenge will replicate the journey of firefighter Stephen Gerard Siller who died in the atrocity.
Stephen was a part of Brooklyn’s Squad 1, who despite having finished his shift, carried 60lbs of gear through the Brooklyn Tunnel.
