Two animation students at Kingston School of Art have produced a TikTok campaign to encourage youngsters to recycle more

Third year students Georgie Sweet and Jake Patterson showcased their work in-front of pupils at Hollyfield School in Surbiton.

Their campaign features an animated video of character “Recycling Dan” who is based on a talking recycling bin.

The aim is to highlight ways of reducing wasteful habits via the social media platform.

Sutton has the 7th oldest population of all London boroughs, and the 70 to 74 age group is projected to be the fastest growing

With this in mind, a new care hub is opening in the St Nicholas Shopping Centre on Wednesday.

Sutton Care Works will help showcase the different roles, techniques and skills needed for a job in social care.

It is part of a new adult social care recruitment campaign in Sutton, to encourage more people into the sector.
