Neil Tester set out to find the final resting place of his ancestor Herbert William Pope because others in the family were desperate to know.

Mr Pope, who died in 1919, was eventually found buried at Brentwood in Essex following a search which had centred on Weybridge, where his widow and son lived most of their lives.

The headstone is in recognition of Mr Pope’s army service during the First World War.

Siya Patel was 11 months old when she fell and hit her head on a radiator in April.

Doctors shortly discovered that the injury had hit an artery, which resulted in her entering a cardiac arrest when arriving at A&E.

Siya was taken to the paediatric intensive care unit after revival where she remained in a critical condition for nine days. 

Dr Kirti Singhal has been back to St George’s where she surprised Siya and her family at a follow up appointment.

Met officers were flagged down following reports a man was arguing with a woman on Kingston Bridge just before midnight.

The brigade took 11 calls to the blaze near Wellington Road yesterday just before 3.30pm.

They add that we can prevent grass fires by not barbecuing on open land, clearing away rubbish and glass, and safely disposing of cigarettes.

Officers were called to Woodham Park Road at around 1pm on 7th August to a collision between a Renault Kangoo van, a BMW and a Mazda.

Two passengers were taken to hospital with serious injuries, one is now stable and the other’s been released after surgery.

The programme provides the opportunity for overseas doctors to train and work within the NHS to save children’s lives.
